His Story
Abdul Razak Osman first started Pencak Silat at the age of 10 joining Silat Seni Gayong PASAK Singapura and he undergoes the Perlimau Tapak Ceremony by the Late Haji Hussain Bin Kaslan, Chief Instructor in Singapore back in the year 1979.

Abdul Razak Osman also participated in the Singapore National Boxing Championship from 1988 to 1990 under the Pint Weight Category (39kg - 41kg) before fully focusing on Pencak Silat. He was the Singapore National Silat Champion for years from 1988 to 1999 under the weight category of 40kg - 45kg and 45kg - 50kg. During these years, he represented Singapore in International tournaments such as the South East Asia Games, Pencak Silat World Championships, International Silat Open Championship and so on. He consistently holds the Silver and Bronze medals during these tournaments.
In 1998, Abdul Razak Osman graduated and was officially certified as the Silat Seni Gayong Gurulatih (Master) in Singapore. He was entrusted to lead Pencak Silat centres, which were located in Braddell RC and Woodlands RC, Singapore.

Abdul Razak Osman visited the Tomb of the Late Grand Master Dato' Meor Abdul Rahman in Taiping, Perak Malaysia back in 2002. His team was invited to perform demonstrations in Kedah, Kuala Lumpur and Malacca to celebrate the gathering event of all Silat Seni Gayong Practitioners from all around the world including Gayong America. He was partnered with Junaidah Rahim showcasing Seni Parang Rantai and also partnered with Nur Huzaimi showcasing Seni Parang Panjang.

He also represented Silat Seni Gayong PASAK Singapura in the World Martial Arts Festival 2002 held at Chung Ju, South Korea. He partnered with Junaidah Rahim showcasing Seni Keris and Seni Parang Rantai.

In 2003, Abdul Razak Osman received the Pendekar Title from his Master (Late Haji Hussain Bin Kaslan).

While Abdul Razak Osman participated in all these events, he still continued being a Master and his students from Woodlands RC, Singapore consistently took the Overall Championship Title in the Silat Seni Gayong PASAK Singapura competitions through the years up to 2005. He was awarded the Best Gurulatih from Silat Seni Gayong PASAK Singapura

In 2006, Abdul Razak Osman and his family decided to migrate to Adelaide, South Australia.
​
In 2007, Abdul Razak Osman obtained permission from Trust Beneficiary & Chief Instructor of Silat Seni Gayong PASAK Singapore, Late Mr Mohamed Rahim Bin Hussain to open a branch of Silat Seni Gayong Centre in Australia. Permission was granted, however, under one condition, the name of Silat Seni Gayong PASAK could not be retained or used. And so Silat Seni Gayong Anak Harimau Australia was created. Silat Seni Gayong Anak Harimau Australia centre was first officially opened in Adelaide, South Australia. A branch in Melbourne, Victoria also was opened afterwards under Instructor Mohammad Zulkifli Ahmad. Mohammad Zulkifli Ahmad is one of the practitioners of Silat Seni Gayong PASAK Singapura who migrated to Melbourne, Victoria and is currently the one who is running the Melbourne Gelanggang (branch).

Gayong Anak Harimau Australia (South Australia) was invited to perform in Melbourne Town Hall in 2008 alongside the Indonesian Delegates and DOMAS from Victoria Pencak Silat Team for Silat demonstrations. GAHA got the opportunity to meet the International Pencak Silat Federation (PERSILAT) President, Mr Eddie Marzuki Nalapraya.

Gayong Anak Harimau Australia (GAHA) is one of the co-founders of Australian Pencak Silat Federation. The others are Domas, Macan Pasrah, Asedeci, and Grasio. GAHA (SA) participated in the 1st National Australian Pencak Silat Championship 2010 that was organised by the Australian Pencak Silat Federation (APSF) in Melbourne, Victoria. GAHA (SA) won 3 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. Abdul Razak Osman was appointed as the Head Coach of Team Australia in the 14th World Pencak Silat Championship 2010 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

In 2012, Abdul Razak Osman and his family decided to move interstate to Perth, Western Australia.
​
Abdul Razak Osman travelled to Malaysia to take further Gurulatih training in the year of 2013 under Late Datuk Adiwijaya at Wisma Gayong, Ampang, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. In 2014, he was invited to Malaysia to receive Sandang Kebesaran Ketua Beradat and Tali Pinggang Harimau Pelangi Cula Sakti Hitam 5 (T.P.H.P) - Black Belt from Trust Beneficiary Cikgu Sazali Dato' Meor Abdul Rahman in Taiping, Perak Malaysia at Wisma Sendo. Abdul Razak Osman also received accreditation by the President of Pertubuhan Silat Seni Gayong Malaysia, Late Datuk Adiwijaya at Wisma Gayong for his confirmation as a Certified Gurulatih in Australia.

Abdul Razak Osman was given another opportunity in the year 2015 to be appointed as the National Australian Seni Team Coach at the 16th World Pencak Silat Championship 2015 held at Phuket, Thailand. The Australian Ganda team reached the finals and was ranked 6th in the world.
​
In 2019, Abdul Razak Osman was elected to become the Secretary-General of the Australian Pencak Silat Federation (APSF).
